Day 1 - Problems during our 30 km crossing

We rounded Domwe Island which is at the peninsular of Cape Maclear in South, into the open water and into huge south easterly winds.

There was not enough clearance took on lot of water, paddling belly deep, we turned back. Tough paddle. Now back at start making a new plan. Will try send half kit up by ferry to meet us for starters.
