Kayak! Eureka

Tanzanian driver let us down again. Serious Team talk and decided to stop repeating the same mistake and go for a safer bet. A friend (in Alaska!) has one for us, but it's on Lake Victoria.

So we drove from the Tz border to Kisumu, found our sea kayak (an old, huge, Wilderness Systems) and by midnight we had it loaded up. Now we're driving through the night to make up for lost time.

We've arranged to meet a local guide tomorrow in Tuum, then he will escort us down a goat trail to the southern point for our put in. We lost two days in all and that puts the pressure on. This lake has become an obsession for Nick and I, we are going to get there and paddle it, so help me!
