Where's our kayak?!

Logisticometer turned red, then an angry purple. Two weeks ago our kayak fell through. With all other plans set, we scrambled to get another one Nick had on Zanzibar. It was to arrive in Nairobi the same day we did. On Saturday the truck broke down and returned to Dar!

We arranged another truck, who promised to drive through the night for a Sunday delivery. Sunday morning check in reveals the driver is still in Dar, "Sunday is for church" he says.

We scrambled a third option, putting some local heavies in charge. Despite Nick's fluent Swahili something is clearly being lost in translation. Having had the third option lined up, the church going driver calls to say he has left Dar with our kayak!

I'm sending this from a street cafe at the Kenya Tanzania border, where we spent the night and hope to intercept the truck and end this mystery.

If we collect today then it's a bee-line for the Lake.
